Ubiquitech has since 2005 been a valued Premium Plus member of Ricoh developement community, and has the pleasure to announce that Ricoh and Ubiquitech has extened the agreement to support of each other with a new agreement has been signed for Ubiquitech to be a valued Premium Puls member of the in the new global development program with the leading global manufacturer of office automation equipment Ricoh.

This means that Ubiquitech continue will be an official solutions provider for Ricoh and will actively participate in the Developer Program. In addition to integrating our Pull and Push printing solutions into Ricoh devices, we will also be offering the Ubiquitech Full Printing Management solution, open MPS.

Ubiquitech A/S aims to become an international player and provider of solutions for print cost control and secure printing delivering embedded intelligent printing solutions into Ricoh MFPs.

Ubiquitech is providing continuous support to Ricoh customers and partner’s with innovation and strong solutions based on the strong foundation in the award winning VDMS technology from Ubiquitech

Our solutions are developed for Ricoh are fully functional with all the well-known Ricoh device features such as Pull Print, Push Print, Security, Port Monitor and Rule Based Printing. Furthermore, the Ricoh MFPs are also supported when sold under other brands.

The solutions allows to:

• Replace personal printers with fewer and more cost-efficient workgroup printers and MFPs, without compromising confidentiality and security.
• Protect print data all the way to the printer by applying encryption and other counter-measures.
• Minimize costs due to documents that never get collected or are collected by the wrong person by mistake.
• Control users' access to workgroup printers and MFPs.
• Collect data that enables accurate invoicing of users and user-groups.
• Adds flexibility as if one MFP is down, the user can just use another MFP to print his jobs
• Increases mobility as users can choose freely between any MFP inside or outside the organization
• Saves maintenance time because drivers are updated centrally. No users need to be ”moved”

The solutions are based on the unique and patented Ubiquitech pull printing solutions concept “VDMS”, where documents are printed to a database and subsequently released for printing, when the user identifies himself at any Ricoh-enabled printer.
