VDMS Enterprise Virtual Server is a network server-based solution for Enterprise customers or solutions with special needs for a highly scalable cluster enable document tracking, client billing, reporting and security solution working without any needs for print servers or spooling functions. The server is based on the Open Platform OS system Linux, that enhances the functionality of MFPs (Multi-Function Printers) together with the option for any kind of database integration, mobility option for printing or browser based web administration. Open Platform system Linux has been chosen as the operating system due to is its open nature, which give advantages in cost of license and customisation option.
